Alessandro Evangelista

Alessandro Evangelista, Naples, born in 1993, is an AI Technical Leader and Senior Data Scientist. After graduating in Automation Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, he completed a Master’s in Data Science at Bologna Business School, fully funded by a merit scholarship from the Barletta Foundation. He later specialized with an Executive Course in AI and Management at LUISS Business School, funded by Engineering S.p.A.. He currently works at Engineering Ingegneria Informatica S.p.A., where he leads an AI research and innovation team in Computer Vision, coordinating scientific activities with the Polytechnic University of the Marche. He is also co-founder of WASHIT S.r.l., a SaaS startup in extra-hotel logistics. Certified AWS and Microsoft Azure professional, he has contributed to scientific research on Transformer architectures in industrial applications. He is also deeply engaged in the community as a member of Mensa since 2015, former Chair of the Board of the Board of European Students of Technology (BEST), and former Airbnb Community Leader.
