Eleonora Pariset

Born in Aosta in 2001, Eleonora Pariset is an experimental physicist whose research explores some of the major open questions in our understanding of the Universe, from the nature of neutrinos to the search for dark matter.

She studied Physics at Sapienza University of Rome, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, while also attending the Scuola Superiore di Studi Avanzati Sapienza (SSAS).

She is currently pursuing a PhD in Experimental Particle Physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her research lies at the intersection of fundamental physics and detector development, with a particular focus on neutrinos, axions, and superconducting technologies.

Beyond her research, she is passionate about science communication and, more broadly, about engaging in opportunities for dialogue that bring together different disciplines, perspectives, and ways of thinking.
