Flavia Manzo Margiotta

Flavia Manzo Margiotta, from Taranto, born in 1995, is a dermatology resident at Università di Pisa. She is also a PhD student at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, where she was a regular fellow and Medical Sciences representative during her medical studies. Her research focuses on inflammatory skin diseases, including atopic dermatitis, alopecia areata, hidradenitis suppurativa, and psoriasis. She was a Visiting Fellow at Temple University and Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and Ricardo Palma University, Lima. She is a member of multiple professional societies, including the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and the Italian Society of Dermatology and Sexually Transmitted Diseases (SIDeMaST). She has also contributed editorially, including for the magazine Il Chiasmo, published by Treccani.
