Luigi De Angelis is a physician and public health researcher specializing in infectious disease epidemiology, vaccinology, artificial intelligence governance, and health-related misinformation. Over the past three years, he has published 27 peer-reviewed scientific articles (H-index: 8, Scopus) and received the Best Abstract Award at the AIMed Global Summit 2023. A Fulbright Scholar, Luigi earned a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. Before co-founding HumanTruths, he founded the Italian Society of Artificial Intelligence in Medicine (SIIAM), serving as its President and growing it into the largest Italian professional network dedicated to artificial intelligence in healthcare, with more than 650 members.
