Veterinary Medicine

Viola Biondi

Veterinarian, born in 1992, she graduated from the University of Bologna in 2022 with a thesis on canine behavior. She initially envisioned her future as a clinical ethologist, but during an intense night shift she discovered her passion for emergency medicine—and they have been inseparable ever since. Emergency medicine is often associated with adrenaline, but for her it is above all about passion, dedication, and deep involvement in managing complex situations where every decision matters. She currently works in a veterinary hospital, focusing on emergency and intensive care, and serves as a tutor in the internship program. She also provides outpatient clinical care and collaborates with the Pistoia animal shelter. She strongly believes in scientific communication, continuous education, and personal growth as essential tools for both professional and human development. Committed to giving back, she donates blood whenever possible and is a registered bone marrow donor. In her free time, she enjoys sports and outdoor activities, spending time in nature with her dogs and sharing good food with the people she loves.
