Elia Torrisi holds a high school diploma with a classical orientation from I.I.S. Michele Amari in Giarre (CT), a bachelor's degree in economics and social sciences from Bocconi University and a master's degree in European and international politics from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan. A former president of associations and committees in the cultural, sports, professional and political fields, he was a founding member and first president of the Rotary Club Passport Mediterranee District 2110 (Sicily - Malta) and alternate auditor of the Italian Association of Public and Institutional Communication (Compubblica). He served as sole director of an audiovisual production company from March 13, 2019 to December 21, 2021. A founding member and president of A.S.D. 7 Torri from 2018 to 2019, he was a student of the School of Policies promoted by AREL in the two-year period 2018 - 2019, and from 2023 to 2025 he was administrative director of A.S.D. Polisportiva Naxos (FIGC - LND - Beach Soccer Department). Since November 27, 2025, he has been a Community Animator of the Policoro Project of the Italian Episcopal Conference at the Diocese of Acireale.
