Massimo Penzo, born in Turin in 1967, is an engineer and entrepreneur with a decades-long career in corporate finance, management consulting, and technological innovation applied to education. He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino and further expanded his academic background by earning a second degree in Political Science from the Università degli Studi di Torino, developing an interdisciplinary perspective that combines technical-scientific rigor with strategic and institutional insight.
His professional experience is rooted in Management Consulting and corporate Turnaround, fields in which he has developed deep expertise over years of activity supporting entrepreneurs, investors, and managers. He is the founder, majority shareholder, and Chairman of KNET PROJECT, a management company based in Turin and Milan specializing in Corporate Finance. In 2022, he founded T-HUB CAPITAL, a firm dedicated to supporting institutional and private investors in equity investment operations in medium-sized Italian companies.
Alongside his entrepreneurial activity in corporate finance, Massimo Penzo has devoted significant and ongoing commitment to social initiatives and education. He is President of Fly University Project ETS, a non-profit organization founded in 2019 with the mission of promoting the ethical use of Artificial Intelligence and new technologies, contributing to making these tools socially and economically sustainable for younger generations. Fly University Project provides scholarships in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Management, and Economics, supporting deserving students who require assistance to begin or continue their university studies, with particular attention to those facing physical, psychological, economic, social, or family disadvantages. The organization currently collaborates with approximately 15 Italian universities and has built a national community of academics, entrepreneurs, and scientists committed to putting their expertise at the service of younger generations. Fly University Project has developed the “Destinazione Eccellenza” Project, a strategic initiative aimed at recognizing, supporting, and promoting young Italian talents pursuing outstanding academic paths beyond national borders. The project provides scholarships for upper secondary school students, master’s students, and PhD candidates, aimed at international research experiences in STEM fields.
Massimo Penzo embodies a vision in which economic competitiveness and social responsibility are not opposing values, but complementary ones. Through KNET Project and T-Hub Capital, he works to strengthen the Italian entrepreneurial ecosystem; through Fly University Project, he builds bridges between academia, the professional world, and younger generations.
